There were fresh-baked cookies and cucumber water in the lobby and the front desk woman was the BEST. She would greet me every day, ask how I was doing, and make sure that I had everything I needed. She went totally above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable.
Very impressed. After a 7 hour drive we were very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an Executive Queen Suite with a lakeside view, which was perfect for us and 3 kids. Staff was very friendly. Beds, sheets and pillows were extremely comfortable. Pool and hot tub were also very nice. Would highly recommend.

Very clean! Front desk staff was amazingly helpful and kind. Great breakfast, so many options. Pool was a decent size for our 4 kids. Comfortable beds and pullout mattress for the kids. Quiet!
The rooms were great - super new, fresh, and modern. The bed was comfortable, the showers were nice, and the room was spacious.
I had to check out of a terrible hotel in the downtown Des Moines area and the Fairfield got me in the same day and were SUPER courteous and hospitable from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable beds, welcoming staff and nice amenities! Mini fridge and microwave in clean rooms with a comfortable and stylish lobby. Great fitness center and pool. Plentiful hot breakfast! Will stay here again.
The lobby, pool, whirlpool, and gym were all gorgeous and well taken care of. This is a new hotel so everything is clean and in great condition as well as being modern and comfortable at the same time.

There's a brand new outlet mall across the street which has great deals and it is close to the freeway, so easy to get wherever you need to go. I went downtown a few nights and it was not a hassle at all to go back and forth.
