Black Friday purchase lines over 2 hour wait. Felt sorry for customer who have only 1 item they need to fix this issue. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Great place for building materials at a good value. Building material staff is easy to work with and willing to help. Paint department is very willing to get things right if something go wrong. No one is perfect and we are all human, but those that choose to do what is right in the end stand out above the rest.
My husband and I went to by drain cleaner and this was around Halloween time so we ended up buying some candy too the cashier put everything in the same bag even though the drain cleaner was like a sulfuric acid type and should definitely not be put in the same bag as food but that was the least of the problem. The cashier was so rude she had her back turned to us talking to a co-worker the entire time not once did she turn around to face us even when we said something about how she bagged the sulfuric acid. She even handed us our change with her back turned to us, never did she say thank you or anything it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Menards are in the high-medium price range. They do have great deal but a lot of which are mail in rebates and they only give you a gift card. If you haven't been to one plan on asking one of the abundant emplyees or you'll spend hours wondering around there huge stores.
