Officer Tufts of the Altoona, Iowa PD just saved me $1580.00.
She was astute enough to figure out an internet scam that someone in Altoona was running and she intercepted 2 money orders that I had sent before they were cashed.
The boy, however, was NOT in our home, hopefully he will be found and his parents can be at ease.
Evidently there is a missing boy from another county and someone on my daughters facebook had stated that he was hiding at our place.
Do you guys know what time they open and close? Altoona P. administration?
My daughter let me know what had happened while I was at work. I called the Altoona PD and they explained the entire situation. It is comforting to know that the officers serving Altoona are very thorough and respectful.
