The Altoona Family Video is the best place to go to get movies!!!!! The manager is awesome and always treats my boyfriend and I like royalty!!!!!! She is why we continue coming back week after week!!!!!!

It's a local movie rental store from a dying era, but it still has its advantages - usually the staff members are passionate about movies & engage in intelligent conversation, recommend movies, help find a specific movie you might be looking for, etc. For someone that wants to crash after work & just let Amazon's or Netflix's algorithms guide your movie watching, then Family Video probably isn't the place to go. It does fill a niche & is still popular in the age of streaming.
